Artistic Rendering Of Kyle Busch Wins The NC Education Lottery 200
Kyle Busch snagged his 2nd consecutive victory in the Truck Series and his 48th career win in 136 career starts.

Kyle Busch picked up his 7th victory in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC on Fri. night for the NC Education Lottery 200.

Busch said, “It was certainly interesting from my vantage point. We had a really fast Tundra tonight, The guys at the body shop are really helping us out and building some exceptional speed. Anytime you can win here in Charlotte it’s in front of your friends, your family, your fans. Everybody’s worked hard.”

Busch started 4th but quickly was in 1st by Lap 3 after pole starter Christopher Bell lost a tire. Busch stayed in front through the Stage 1 before falling back in the top five for most of stage 2.

Busch said, “We shot through the middle of those guys. They were battling really hard side-by-side, Made the top work through 1 and 2. Got a exceptional run off 2. Crafton left me a lane in the middle. So I kinda blew by them both of them. It’s been a fantastic run and we win a lot, The record was just a number. I remember passing Mark Martin on the XFINITY side. I look forward to passing Ron on the Truck side and hopefully setting that a little bit higher.”

Sauter, finishing 2nd for the 2nd straight week while Bell finish 3rd after his early cut tire and going down two laps as a result.

Sauter said, “It was a exceptional night for us. This has been a place I’ve typically struggled in the past, We were exceptional in the 2nd stage. I called for an adjustment and it was phenomenal and I should have got more of it on the final pitstop. Needed more front grip. All these guys on this team did a great job of getting me back out there,” Bell said. “I had a second-place truck. Ran 3rd with it. That’s what’s frustrating.”

Ryan Truex and Timothy Peters rounded out the top five.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has next weekend off but returns for a four-week stretch of races starting at Dover International Speedway on June 2nd.
