The final win of the season was at Homestead Florida and the first was at Las Vegas followed by Kansas City, Kentucky, Watkins Glen, Chicago, Charlotte, and again at Kansas City.

2017-05-13 Martin Truex celebrates his 9th career win and his 1st at Kansas. Truex led the most laps again for his 3rd consecutive run at Kansas Speedway, but this time he was able to win the Go Bowling 400 at Kansas Speedway.

2017-07-08 Martin Truex Jr wins Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. Maintaining the lead after the final restart he made it past the overtime line just then a ninth caution came out, however it did not affect him winning his third NASCAR Cup Series race this season. Truex said a good push from Kyle Larson at the final restart helped him a bunch.

2017-08-06 Martin Truex Jr. saved enough fuel to score his fourth win of the season and first at Watkins Glen International in the I Love New York 355.

2017-11-19 Martin Truex Jr. wins the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Truex took the final lead when Busch made what he hoped would be his last pit stop at lap 216. After the pit stop, Busch held the advantage, having newer tires and enough fuel to reach the end without a late stop. But a late caution at lap 229 gave everyone to opportunity to pit and took away Kyle’s advantage.

“We just never gave up all day long,” Truex said, almost tearfully. “We didn’t have the best car and I don’t know how we won that thing. Never give up. Dig deep. I told my guys we were going to dig dipper than we ever have, and with 20 to go I thought I was done – they were all better than me on the long runs. I just found a way. I found a lane that I could use and I found a lane that was blocking enough of their air that they couldn’t use it and just made it happen. I can’t believe it. I’ve wanted this since I was a little kid, just never give up. Just never give up on your dreams no matter what happens and what kind of crap you go through. “I couldn’t even talk,” he said. “I was a wreck thinking about all the tough days, the bad days, the times where I thought my career was over with, the times when I didn’t think anyone believed in me. But the guys who mattered did — my fans, my family and then when I got with this team.
