The early lead went to Tyler Dippel after pole starter Chase Purdy dropped back and took it easy to preserve his tires as he said he would do in a pre race interview. Hunter Baize had the opposite strategy, he quickly drove his car from 9th to first place before the halfway reset.
With 38 laps to go Hunter Baize had a nice lead when a caution came out for oil on the track. When they restarted Todd Gilliland took the lead Tyler Dippel moved into second and Chase Purdy to third and Baize dropped all the way back to tenth.
With five laps to go Purdy moved into second passing Dippel then with two laps to go Chase Cabre also overtakes Dippel.
With one lap to go Dippel spun out on his used up tires and moments later in turn 3 Travis Miller hits Collin Cabre just in front of the leader Todd Gilliland who’s excellent driving skills snuck him by the carnage to take the checkered and caution flags at the same time for the win.
Second place went to Chase Purdy, third place was had by Chase Cabre, fourth place was secured by Jay Beasley and fifth place was rounded out by Ronnie Bassett Jr.
